What are the benefits of music therapy?

Music has the ability to evoke powerful memories, and listening to familiar songs from the past can help improve cognitive abilities and stimulate memory recall. Dementia patients often experience high levels of stress and anxiety. Listening to music can help to reduce these negative emotions and promote a sense of calm. And frankly, music therapy can help to elevate the mood of dementia patients, bringing joy and pleasure into their lives.

How did you take safety precautions during COVID-19?

We have done many virtual performances to ensure the safety of seniors staying at hospice care centers.

Can you do multiple performances a day?

Yes, absolutely! Our only request is that the locations are close to each other to allow time for set up.

How long are your performances?

Our performances vary in length from 30 minutes to an hour.  We are open to change the length based on need.

I know of a venue that needs music therapy. Can you play for us?

Sure! We are happy to provide our services to those who need it. Base2d on availability and location, the event can be scheduled.

What instruments do you play?

Our performances feature instruments such as violin, cello, alto saxophone, flute, and the piano.  We will include more instruments in the future.

What kind of music do you play?

Our performances are comprised of classic pieces as well as oldies songs that seniors can relate to.
