About

Salutem Instrumental is a youth-run, youth-supported organization that seeks to use music to spread happiness and hope to hospice care seniors with dementia.

We host music performances across senior living centers across North Texas. Our team features a variety of orchestral instruments such as violin and cello for a sense of familiarity and comfort through music therapy.

We offer performances throughout the year as well as the summer at hospice care centers. Our members have participated in different orchestras across Texas.

We also offer violin lessons as well as free, monthly violin workshops for students of all levels. Our instructors have over 5 years of violin experience, participating in groups such as the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra, the Dallas Asian American Youth Orchestra, and various local school orchestras. All of our students are encouraged to participate in the performances that Salutem hosts, either in-person or online based on convenience.

Ishan Vemireddy

Ishan is passionate about volunteering and helping the community and make a difference in the well-being of others. During his free time, he enjoy spending time with his editing films and researching about advancements in science and technology.

Rohith Chadalawada

Rohith, a member of the Great Dallas Youth Orchestra, is dedicated to sharing his violin talent and love for music. He also is a varsity tennis player for his school and has a passion for economics and finance.

Nayan Vemireddy

Nayan loves helping others and volunteering to make a difference in the community. During his free time, he enjoys reading and learning about different cultures. Nayan is an also an avid writer.
